Where is Auntie K?

A while back, I’m not even sure when, I decided to purchase postcards for my nieces and nephews every time I travel to a new place for work. I reached deep into my slightly creative soul and pulled out a title for the little tradition: Where in the USA is Auntie K? (It rhymes!) I’ve been thinking lately about how cool my job is, so here’s a list of the places I have been for work in the last 12 months:

September 22nd-23rd, 2008: Layfayette, IN to speak at the Big Ten Printing and Mailing Conference at Purdue University. I also drove down to Indianapolis and spoke at Choices, Inc. before heading to the airport. Productive trip!

September 26th-27th, 2008: Atlanta, GA to speak at the USA Diving Conference. Fun stuff! Staying anywhere downtown is always a favorite, because I can get out and walk places!

October 16th, 2008: Denver, CO to speak to First American Heritage Title Company. I didn’t have to go far, but it still counts. 🙂

November 10th-11th, 2008: Atlanta, GA to speak with my Dad to speak at Aramark, Sales Conference.

December 2nd-3rd, 2008: Dayton, OH to speak with my Dad to a Business Leaders group at Dayton University.

December 10th-11th, 2008: Atlanta, GA to speak with my Dad to the American Cancer Society.

January 18th-19th, 2009: Brookfield, WI to speak to the Westmoor Country Club.

January 27th-28th, 2009: Cheyenne, WY to speak to the Warren Federal Credit Union.

February 3rd-4th, 2009: Grand Island, NE to speak with my Dad for a session put on by Central Community College.

March 2nd-4th, 2009: Grants, NM to speak to Cibola General Hospital.

March 9th-10th, 2009: Boca Raton, FL to speak to the Boca Raton Resort staff (and yes I got to stay there!)

March 10th-11th, 2009: Champaigne, IL to speak to the Illinois Department on Aging.

March 27th-28th, 2009: Palms Springs, CA to speak to the Western Candy Conference.

April 1st-2nd, 2009: Eagle, CO to speak to the Eagle County Fire Department.

April 15th-16th, 2009: Sagle, ID to speak to Northern Lights Electric.

June 16th-17th, 2009: Chicago, IL to speak to the Illinois Nutrition Association.

July 14th-15th, 2009: Minneapolis, MN to speak to a group at Best Buy headquarters.

July 19h-21st, 2009: Farmville, VA to speak to adult sponsors, and youth at a YADAPP Conference.

August 18th-19th, 2009: Fargo, ND to speak to the North Dakota State College of Science staff and faculty.

August 20th-21st, 2009: Martinsburg, WV to speak to the Martinsburg High School staff.

August 27th-28th, 2009: Little River/Lyons, KS to speak to the Little River 6th-12th graders, and the Little River, Lyons, and Sterling staff.

September 16th-18th, 2009: Kearney, NE to speak at two sessions sponsored by the University of Nebraska.

September 21st-23rd, 2009: Sioux Falls, SD to speak to First National Bank in Sioux Falls.

We’ll see where else QBQ! takes me this year! And hopefully the map continues to fill out! 🙂
