Dear Joshua,

Play Doh and “Guys”
You will never understand how amazing it is for Mommy when you play by yourself. I mean really–I’ve barely seen you or heard you since 10:00am and it’s now 11:21. I was able to feed your sister, clean up the dishes, rearrange the nursery into a guest room, make the guest bed, rock your sister for a nap, start the laundry, fax some papers, respond to an email, do some meal planning, cut coupons, and have some “thinking” time to myself. And now I’m actually blogging while the sun is up.
My sweet, sweet, energetic, expressive, often-kinda-clingy little boy: THANK YOU.

Toy room AKA Disaster Area: worth the time to myself to get stuff done!
